Younger MTBers could readily ride this course as long as they have a reasonable level of riding confidence. Trail on eastern side of river is probably a bit easier. Western side has a number of larger dips which could be hard for the less experienced to motor through. There is an adjacent dirt road however so you can readily pull off the trail.
The Morses Creek Trail is also known as "A River Runs Through It Trail" as part of Dirty Dozen trails. Its pretty easy to find by heading through town until you cross Morses Creek. Follow the creek out and it ultimately becomes a free flowing trail that follows the river. If you chuck a left as you head over the suspension bridge once you're past Coronation Drive and in the bush, there is an obstacle course hidden in there as well. The Roger Packham trail network also adds to the trail length and is located alongside the trail. The Morses Creek Trail is marked in yellow in the map above.
