Trail Description

The Scalectric Loop trail is a well established cross country trail passing through gum forest with a ferny understorey so it's quite pleasant to ride through and the countryside is gently undulating meaning there is a good mixture of fast sections with minor climbs interspersed.

Trail notes from the trailhead state:

"The track starts off as winding single track through the bush. The Lollipop section is an awesome length of descending rollercoaster dips and risers. It features log jumps, natural stump holes, A and B line jumps, bermed corners and over a dozen timber bridges over the gullies. The track winds up spur lines across gullies and another 1.5km DH (downhill) run to join the Gippsland Lakes Discovery Trail for approximately 1km, then a short sweet climb up Roo’s Track. The last part of Scalectric Track follows the contour via Pussy Log Track back to the trailhead."
